Backup and Restore Limitations

The backup and restore feature on Formuler devices has specific limitations regarding device compatibility.

Cross-Device Compatibility

Backup and restore can only be performed on the same device model. You cannot:

• Back up data from one device model (e.g., Z11 Pro Max)
• Restore that backup to a different device model (e.g., Z12 Ultra)

Current Functionality

The backup and restore feature is designed to work exclusively within the same device, meaning:

• Backups created on a Z11 Pro Max can only be restored on the same Z11 Pro Max
• Backups created on a Z12 Ultra can only be restored on the same Z12 Ultra

Future Considerations

This cross-device backup and restore functionality is being reviewed for potential inclusion in future updates.
